Eight classes, one journey.
Every great journey begins with a peaceful step. We chose the name (Al-Salam) so that your beginning in the world of the Quranic language is filled with ease and tranquility. Here, you step into a new home that opens its doors to teach you letters and sounds, receiving the first greetings of the Arabic language. Peace is the threshold of connection and the beginning of serenity in seeking knowledge.
Now that your tongue has become familiar with the letters, it is time for illumination. (Al-Siraj) is the lantern that dispels the darkness of the path. At this level, basic words and skills begin to take shape to light your way. You are no longer in the dark regarding the language; rather, you have lit your own lantern to begin seeing sentence structures with clarity.
Knowledge is awareness, and awareness is discernment. (Al-Furqan) is the light that distinguishes truth from falsehood, and in our language, it is the ability to discern nuanced styles and subtle differences between words and grammar. In this class, the student overcomes the hurdles of the beginnings and becomes capable of deconstructing and understanding texts with a conscious and independent eye.
In the Arabic language, ‘adana means to settle and dwell. You have now crossed half the journey, and the language is no longer foreign to you; rather, it has become a home you retreat to. The (‘Adn) class symbolizes the stage of rooting and empowerment, where grammar settles firmly in your mind, and your skills are established on solid, unshakeable ground.
Al-Kawthar is the abundant goodness and the flowing water that never runs dry. After stability comes the time for abundance and growth. Here, your vocabulary and linguistic store flow into your mind like a running river. In (Al-Kawthar) class, the student transforms from the stage of reception and understanding to the stage of fluent speaking and rich linguistic production.
Al-Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him; it is the pinnacle of mastery and beauty in every deed. At this level, we are not satisfied with you just speaking Arabic; rather, we aspire for you to excel in it. You will choose the most eloquent words, taste the magic of rhetoric, and formulate your expressions with absolute precision and fluency that reflect the depth of your thoughts.
Al-Firdaws is the highest paradise and the lofty orchard of civilization. Reaching this class means you have ascended to the top of the linguistic pyramid. Here, you are not a regular student, but a proficient researcher navigating through foundational books, analyzing complex literary and Islamic texts, and plucking the highest and finest fruits of Arabic culture.
This is the ultimate goal, and the final crown of your journey. (Al-Ridwan) is the station of complete contentment and perfection in seeking knowledge, where the student concludes the journey of the eight levels. Here, the student is crowned as an Ambassador of the Arabic Language, proficient in understanding it, speaking with its eloquence, and ready to transmit this light and comprehensive goodness to the world around them.
